Event managers go to events and setup, configure and operate timing equipment on-site to provide complete results for the event. This position requires some technical know how with basic computer networking and software operation.

  • Full time and part time (seasonal) positions are available.
  • Setup of computers, network and timing systems at the event.
  • Capture times via photo finish cameras or RFID timing systems.
  • Provide results to the event in a timely fashion.
  • Knowledge of the various events we provide timing services for: track & field, road races, triathlons, etc.
  • Experience in the sports we provide services for is a plus.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends is required.
  • Ability to travel is required.
  • Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.

Event technicians handle logistics, equipment and setup for events. They are responsible for loading the equipment into the trailers and vans and driving the equipment to the events. Once on site they handle a lot of the setup tasks and perform whatever job is needed at the event. Upon event completion they are in charge of the tear down and packing of equipment and get the gear to it's next destination.

  • Full time and part time (seasonal) positions are available.

  • Run necessary cables around the facilities to connect timing systems.
  • Knowledge of the various events we provide timing services for: track & field, road races, triathlons, etc.
  • Load and unload vehicles with equipment for events.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends is required.
  • Be available for long periods of travel if required.
  • Experience driving a truck, trailer or large vehicle.
  • Must be able to lift at least 100 pounds.

    The equipment manager is responsible for maintaining, organizing and preparing a variety of equipment for all of our events. They will basically run the warehouse and need to be able to know where things are located and if they are functioning properly.

  • Learn about the various types of equipment and how they operate.
  • Test and prepare equipment for upcoming events.
  • Load and unload vehicles with equipment for events.
  • Account for equipment returning from events before returning equipment to the proper place in the warehouse.
  • Diagnose broken equipment and get it repaired.
  • Work with others to prepare packing lists for events.
  • Keep vehicles up to date with maintenance and licensing.
  • Be able to handle odd jobs around the warehouse.
  • This position may include some driving to drop off equipment at events if needed.
  • Must be able to lift heavy equipment.

    Field event managers go to big events and setup, configure and operate the field event tablets and laser measurement devices that provide real time data for attempts and measurements of the field events to the on-site scoreboards and live results systems.

  • This is a part time seasonal position.
  • Setup and charging of tablets.
  • Setup and charging or laser measurement devices and wind gauges.
  • Basic network troubleshooting required.
  • Manage and train volunteer staff at the event with the tablet software.
  • Lay out plans for the event so ever event has an operator and tablet.
  • Work with volunteers and officials to verify all marks in the tablet match the officials sheets.
  • Experience with field events as a coach or athlete is a plus.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends is required.
  • Ability to travel is required.
  • Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
